PRC Summer -Shine Reading Club

The second round of the PRC's "Summer-Shine Reading Club" is now underway. We wish to to thank all of those who participated in the first session, and, particularly, The Community Foundation for sponsoring the summer book club!

We are looking now for ten participants to join us in reading the book
"Raising an Emotionally Intelligent Child" by John Gottman. Books are now available, and need to be returned by August28, when we regroup for pizza and a book review.

Please contact the center to reserve a book club spot or for more information.

The following materials are recommended by our
Family Educators as outstanding resources to aid in your child's transition to Kindergarten. These books focus on repetition, rhythm and rhyme, and new vocabulary. The table shows the book name, author and number of copies available for your use at the PRC.
The articles have direct links to their respective websites.
